According to numerous reports, Kilmarnock are keen on signing Hibs midfielder Scott Allan.

The 30-year-old has been out-of-favour for a while at Easter Road, after returning from a long lay-off after suffering from heart problems that kept him on the sidelines for a long time.

Allan has featured sporadically this season, and may see a move to the Chmpionship side as a chance to get more first team football.

New Killie boss Derek McInnes is keen to add him to a growing contingent at Rugby Park with Easter Road connections.

The Ayrshire side currently have Hibs youngsters Daniel Mackay and Dylan Tait on loan for the rest of the season.

Killie also have former Hibs academy prospects Oli Shaw and Fraser Murray on their books,

Update:

Hibs boss Shaun Maloney has tonight claimed that he expects Scott Allan to still be a Hibs player when the window closes.

HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:

Losing Scott would be a big blow.

We here at Hibs-Mad Towers still think he has a lot to offer at Easter Road.

The Hibees struggled with creativity over the last few games and in our opinion we were crying out for Scott's introduction.

However with only 6 months left on his deal, his future in Leith looks bleak.

The good news is, Hibs boss Shaun Maloney seems to have poured cold water on the story, saying he expects Allan to still be a Hibs player at the close of the window.
