Hibs have announced that they will play Sunderland in a testimonial match for Lewis Stevenson
The 29-year-old has just signed a new two-year-contract and is about to head in to his 13th season for the club, after his making his debut during the 2005/6 season, in a 1-2 Scottish League Cup win, against Ayr United at Somerset Park.
Sunderland wil come to Easter Road on Sunday 9th July 2017, with a 2pm kick off.
Stevenson has played over 360 games for the Hibees, scoring 7 goals.
He was part of both the 2007 Scottish League Cup, and the legendary 2016 Scottish Cup winning sides, and is the only player in the clubs history, to win both trophies while playing for Hibs.
Lewis also won the Scottish Championship title last season, and has been capped at U19 & U21 level for Scotland
Half the proceeds from the game will be shared by numerous charities.
