Maccabi Tel Aviv eye move for Hibs keeper Marciano

Last updated : 17 May 2018 By Steve Forbes

According to the Scottish Sun, Israeli giants Maccabi Tel Aviv are considering a summer move for Hibs keeper Ofir Marciano.

The 28-year-old has been excellent since signing for the Hibees from Ashdod, initially on loan in 2016, before a permanent deal a year later.

Marciano still has 3 years left on his current deal, and with Ashdod installing a 50% sell-on clause when he moved to Edinburgh, it would take a big fee to prise him from Easter Road.

Hibs boss Neil Lennon already has a sizeable re-building job to do this summer, he will be hoping it won't be added to by losing his No.1.
