Hibs have today, once again, shown an interest in Moroccan goalkeeper Khalid Sinouh.

The Hibees had looked at the player in the summer and boss Mixu Paatelainen seriously considered an attempt to land the player from Turkish side Kasımpasa S.K, as competition to number one Yves Ma-Kalambay.

The 33-year-old has now been released by the Turkish side and has arrived at the Hibees £5m state-of-the-art training facilities at East Mains on trial.

Sinouh also trained with
Falkirk over the summer but could not agree personal terms with John Hughes side and now the player has been handed a chance at Easter Road.

Sinouh has played for HFC Haarlem, SC
Heerenveen, AZ Alkmaar and RKC Waalwijk in Holland as well as a spell with Cypriot club Omonia Nicosia, he also has six caps for Morocco at international level.

Hibs boss Paatelainen has all but confirmed that Sinouh is in
Edinburgh and has also stated that he will bring in another keeper by January, it remains to be seen if that keeper will be Sinouh however.

Paatelainen said:

"We have a goalkeeper in on trial, but we have had a number of goalkeepers at the club over the summer.

"We have had people constantly coming and going over the last few months on trial - fortunately most of them have gone unnoticed.

"I have managed to add to the rest of my squad but the goalkeeper is a position that I have been working on for some time to strengthen because we need to have options.

"We are still looking to do that and are working hard.

"We will definitely bring someone in by January at the latest."
