English Premiership side Portsmouth are the latest club to be linked with a move for Hibs and Scotland striker Steven Fletcher.

Pompey boss Harry Redknapp apparently sees Fletcher as perfect foil for
Liverpool hitman Peter Crouch and its thought Redknapp is desperate to have the pair link up in the Pompey attack.

According to reports in the tabloids at the weekend a bid of £4m will be tabled in the next couple days by Redknapp, which could start a bidding war for the in-demand
Scotland forward.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Newcastle United, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Everton, Birmingham City,  Blackburn Rovers, Celtic and Rangers have all already been linked with a summer move for Fletcher and it's thought an opening bid will start an all out war for the players signature.

21-year-old Fletcher recently signed a six-year-deal at Easter Road and is contracted to Hibs until the summer of 2013 and it would take a MASSIVE bid for Hibees to let the player go.

Fletch finished the Hibees top scorer last season with 14 goals and is a huge fans favourite after netting a double as the Hibees won the Scottish League Cup during the 06/07 season, with a 5-1 over Kilmarnock at Hampden.
