Pre-Season: Hibs 4-1 Motherwell

Hibs put in a fantastic performance today, as they seen of SPL side Motherwell in a pre-season friendly.

The visitors had the lead after only 2 minutes, through a stunning Marvin Johnson free kick.

Hibs hit back immeadiately, with Jason Cummings equalising just a minute later, with a tap-in following a corner.

The Hibees then blew the visitors away, Grant Holt scoring on 16 minutes, before John McGinn scored a bullet header after 22 minutes to make it 3.

James Keatings added a 4th deep in the second half.

Motherwell goalkeeper Craig Samson was excellent in the Fir Park sides goal, otherwise it could have been a lot more.

Trialist (Virtanen 62’), Gray, Stevenson, Hanlon (Fontaine 46’), McGregor (Crane 80’), Bartley (McGeouch 46’), McGinn (Carmichael 74’), Fyvie (Stanton 51’), Holt (Handling 77’), Cummings (Keatings 62’), Boyle (Martin 80’).  Substitute not used: Dunsmore. 

Hibs next game is Thursday night's Uefa Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round, 1st Leg, against Brondby at Easter Road.
