Hibs finished off a promising pre-season this afternoon, with a dominant win over English League One side Shrewsbury Town.

Hibs running out 1-4 winners at the Greenhous Meadow Stadium.

The Hibees travelled south for a 12.30 kick off, and by 12.36 found themselves 0-2 up, through headers from Liam Fontaine & Grant Holt.

Former Motherwell winger Jim O'Brien hit back on 55 minutes, but the Hibees got a helping hand on 61 minutes from former midfielder Gary Deegan, when he slipped, allowing Jason Cummings in to make it 1-3.

Former Hibs defender Ryan McGivern reminded us why we are glad he doesn't don the Green & White anymore, with an error littered display at the back for Shrewsbury.

James Keatings made it 4-1 on 63 minutes to send the 469 Hibs fans in a 2,007 crowd home happy.
