According to one of today's papers, Hibs boss John Collins has become a target of English Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

Apparently the
London club have already approached Hibs and asked for permission to speak to their manager about the vacant post at Loftus Road.

The report states QPR will offer Collins £40m to spend on new players and a £1m contract to take over.

QPR have just parted company with manager John Gregory and it seems it's a toss up between Gianluca Vialli and Collins to take over.

The English side are backed by Formula 1 boss and Billionaire Bernie Ecclestone, as well as Team Renault boss Flavio Briatore.

Collins has just seen off a player revolt, after winning the clubs first silverware in 16 years, when they landed the Scottish League Cup in March, and he has also built an exciting side over the summer (who currently sit second in the SPL and are unbeaten) while having to replace nearly £10m worth of talent on a shoestring.

Let's hope the board turn down any possible QPR approach and that Collins can stay and lead us on to some more silverware.
