Hibs have tonight confirmed that Celtic midfielder Scott Allan has signed a pre-contract deal to join the Hibees.
The 27-year-old return to Easter Road in the summer after signing a 3-year-deal at Easter Road.
Allan will return to Edinburgh for a third spell, that will delight the Hibs support.
The only question now is, will Hibs try to land the player in this window by offering Celtic a transfer fee??
Speaking to the official website, Hibs boss Neil Lennon said:
"It's no secret that Scott is a player I admire and wanted back at Hibernian.
“He’s a player who suits the attacking brand of football we like to play. The type that gets supporters off their seats.
“We’re looking forward to having him back.”
