SFA Youth Cup: Tynecastle 2-4 Hibs DEV

The Hibs Development side kept up their impressive start to the season, with a win in the SFA Youth Cup on Sunday.

The young Hibees faced off against Tynecastle at Saughton Enclosure running out 2-4 winners.

Tynecastle threatened an upset, taking the lead within 70 seconds, but Hibs hit back through Jamie Gullan x2 and Fraser Murray.

However, Tynecastle hit back again before the break to make it 2-3 at half time.

Hibs come out in the second half and closed the game out, with the in form Oli Shaw once again getting on the score sheet and Gullan also missed a penalty to secure a hat-trick.

The Hibees advance to the thrid round and face Dundee in the next round.

P.Martin, Campbell, Porteous, Waugh, Donaldson (Stirling, 66), S.Martin (Smith, 79), Watson, I.Murray, Shaw, Gullan, F.Murray. 

Unused substitutes: Cargill, Galantes, O’Connor.
