St Johnstone boss Steve Lomas has today been linked with a move for Hibs winger Ivan Sproule.
According to press reports Lomas is keen to add much needed pace to his small squad, and thinks countryman Sproule is the answer.
Sproule, 31, is in his second spell at Easter Road, having re-joined the club from English Championship side Bristol City last summer on a pre-contract agreement.
He played 35 games for the Hibees this season, scoring 5 goals.
The speedy winger still has 12 months on his current contract, and it's not yet clear if Sproule is part of Fenlon's cull. If he IS on his way out, a small fee would be needed to finalise his exit.
Sproule joined the Hibees for a bargain £5,000 from Irish side Institute in 2005, and wrote his name into Hibee folklore with a 30 minute hat-trick at Ibrox as the Hibees ran out 3-0 winners against Rangers.
He was also part of the 2007 League Cup winning side, before a £500,000 move to Bristol City that summer, and is held in high regard by the supporters at Easter Road.
Sproule has played over 100 games and scored over 20 goals in the green and white.
He has also had short loan spells at Yeovil Town and Notts County, as well as representing Northern Ireland 11 times, scoring 1 goal.
