It has been revealed today that Swindon Town have rejected a bid from Hibs for midfielder Jonny Williams.
The Hibees have identified the 29-year-old Wales international as a signing target before tonight's transfer window closes.
However, the English side have knocked back a reported bid in the region of £100,000 from Lee Johnson's side.
Williams has been capped 33 times by his country and was in their squad for the recent Qatar World Cup.
He has played for the likes of Cardiff City, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town.
The Hibees are apparently weighing up wether to go back in with a second bid before the transfer window closes at midnight.
HIBS-MAD VIEW:
The kind of player we have been screaming out for, a goal scoring midfielder with plenty of experience.
It would be good to get this over the line and get him through the door at Easter Road.
We wait and see if we go back in.
