Hibs are bracing themselves for a January bid for 100 goal forward Derek Riordan it has been revealed today.

Turkish club Eskisehirspor have today been linked with a cut-price £250,000 January bid for the Scotland forward, who scored his 101st Hibs goal against Aberdeen on Boxing Day at Easter Road.

Riordan, 27, is out-of-contract in the summer, and is entitled to talk to clubs about signing a pre-contract agreement with any club from January 1st 2011.

The Hibees youth product is currently the clubs top goal scorer with 8 goals, in what has been a shocking season at Easter Road, with the club sitting in 10th position, just 5 points off the bottom of the SPL.

Hopefully the club can get Riordan signed up on a new long term contract to head off any competition for his signature.
