UWCL: ZNK Pomurje 1-2 Hibs

Hibs Ladies won their group this afternoon, and advanced to the last 32 of the Uefa Women's Champions League.

The Hibees beat Slovenian side Pomurje 1-2 through goals from Jamie-Lee Napier and Lauren Davidson.

Hibs put in another excellent performance and could have won by a bigger margin due to the amount of chances created.

The likes of Anderlecht and FC Twente all qualified and will join the big guns of Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Lyon, Wolfsburg and PSG, amogst others, in the draw for the next round.

Hibs XI:

Hibs: Fife, Murray, Hunter, Michie (Leishman 90+2), Muir, Reilly, Boyle (Cavanagh 72), Cornet, McGregor, Davidson (Morrison 81), Napier.

Unused Subs: Currie, Higgins, Williamson, Notley.

Into the last 32 for the second time in three seasons, and once again doing our club proud.

The Girls can now look forward with excitement to Friday's draw in Nyon.
