Aston Villa reserve team boss Kevin McDonald has become the latest name linked to the vacant Hibernian manager’s job. McDonald, 49, was in temporary charge of the Villa first team following the departure of former boss Martin O’Neill. He took charge of the Villa side for the first 7 games of the season, before being replaced by Gerard Houllier. Houllier then offered him the chance to become his assistant at Villa Park, but he rejected it, and moved back to his post with the reserves. Other names currently being linked with the job are Michael O'Neill, Steve Clarke, Jimmy Calderwood, Billy Reid, Nevio Scala, Paul Hart and Derek Adams to name but a few.
