Hibs played their second winter training camp friendly this afternoon, losing to Dutch side Willem II.
The Hibees lost 1-3 despite a strong showing.
Bad news that comes from the game in the Algarve is that club captain and Scottish Cup winning legend David Gray's season could be over.
The full-back collapsed in a heap, with nobody near him, after only 8 minutes, and Hibs boss Neil Lennon believes the former Manchester United player has snapped his Achilles.
This would mean an operation, which would most likely mean the 29-year-old's season is over.
Hibs took the lead early in the second half threw Simon Murray, but the Dutch side came back to win the game through a Mo El Hankour double and a goal from Ismael Azzaoui.
Murray also had another effort chopped off when Oli Shaw found himself offside.
A good workout for the Hibees, but a blow with David Gray.
Hibs XI:
Marciano, Gray (Porteous 10), McGregor (Stirling 66), Hanlon (Fontaine 70), Stevenson, Slivka, Bartley, McGeouch (F Murray 62), McGinn, Shaw, S Murray (Matulevicius 66).
Subs: Bain, Debrowski, Fontaine.
