Alen Orman on the move

Alen Orman has been taken on trial by Bundesliga outfit Arminia Bielefeld.

Bosnian-born, though an Austrian national now, Alen Orman, 25, has been told by Mogga that contract will not be renewed and that he can move on.

Midfielder Alen has got three goals in 16 turnouts this season

Bielefeld have a new coach in Thomas von Hessen as they also make a push for Europe next season and should Alen do enough to impress Von Hessen then he could land a move out of Edinburgh to kick-start his career

Alex McLeish splashed out £100,000 to sign him from Belgian side Royal Antwerp in 2001 and he soon made his impact, when on form Alen made a telling impact on the Hibs side but it was consistency that was missing. Alen also found out during his time with Hibs that he had epilepsy, suffering a fit during a televised game with Rangers a year later, and hats off to him for dealing with that and for getting on with his life.

He did however, make a further 97 appearances for Hibs though the form of the current crop of youngsters has pushed him onto the bench if he was lucky.

Good luck to you Alen where ever you go, and thanks for doing your bit.
