Coventry bound?
It has been reported that Gary Caldwell is set to reject a season long loan deal with Hibs, and instead cut the same deal with Coventry City.

The Edinburgh Evening News said that new Sky Blues boss Gary McAllister wanted to sign the defender, but as he's poised to sign a new 3 year contract with Newcastle, a season long loan deal looks most likely for the Midlands club.

It was thought Gary would come back to Hibs on the same kind of loan deal, meaning we got a good defender for a year while not paying any fee, so it worked out perfectly. It is now thought the Scotland cap would prefer to be chasing the 1st division title with Coventry.

More news as it comes in.
