Celtic v Hibs - Jones OUT/Whittaker Struggling/Fletcher & Stewart Fit.

Last updated : 07 February 2007 By Steve Forbes

Hibs received some mixed news today, ahead of Saturday's trip to Parkhead to face Celtic.

Hibs skipper Rob Jones will miss the clash through suspension, after picking up enough bookings to take him through the disciplinary barrier.

Also struggling to make the clash is Steven Whittaker who has picked up a groin strain and has pulled out of the Scotland B squad.

On the other hand however, was some good news. Midfield enforcer Michael Stewart, who has also pulled out of the Scotland B squad, should be fit to face Celtic.

Hibs striker Steven Fletcher, 19, is also expected to be fit after he pulled out of the Scotland U-19 squad.

Stewart & Fletcher have both been substituted in the last few Hibs games after BOTH constantly vomited on the pitch.
