Hibs have moved to sign Oldham Athletic forward Chris Killen.

The 24 year old New Zealand international striker has signed an 18 month contract with the Hi-Bees after passing a medical yesterday.

Killen spent three years at Manchester City, before moving to Oldham Athletic for £200,000 in the summer of 2002.

Hibs manager Tony Mowbray said “We have been watching Chris for sometime and were actually looking to sign him this time last year however he was scoring too many goals and Oldham were not prepared to release him. He adds a degree of depth to the squad and creates even more competition for the striking roles which has to be a good for the Club.”
