Could Gary play at ER next season - for Scotland?
It has been reported that Berti Vogts is to bring his team to Edinburgh for an international friendly.

It is being said that Scotland will play either Canada or the USA in the capital on October 15. It hasn't yet been decided if Easter Road or Tynecastle will be the venue for the match.

Easter Road of course hosted a full Scotland international just over four years ago, in a friendly against Finland. The game was played on 22 April 1998 and the match finished 1-1.

This was to compensate for us getting the final 1998 World Cup qualifier against Latvia taken from us. It was a must win match for Scotland, and so the match was switched back to Hampden Park. Scotland won 2-0.

Let's hope that if the game is held at Easter Road, we have a few home players in action - a sure fire way to boost the crowd!
