Fife Hyland leaves Hibs

Hibs have today confirmed that director Fife Hyland has left the club with immeadiate effect.

Hyland informed the board of his intention to move on to pastures new at the end of the 2011/12 SPL season in late 2011, today that news has been confirmed with his departure.

Hibs also revealed that in a cost cutting measure, Hyland would not be replaced, and that the executive team is down to 3 people. Garry O'Hagan (Club Secretary/Director), Scott Lindsay (Chief Executive) and Jamie Marwick (Finance Director).

Chairman Rod Petrie thanked Fife for his time with the club, he said:

"I should like to thank Fife for the experience, flair and acumen that he brought to the club. We wish him well for the future."

Hyland joined the Hibs board in 2008.
