Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today revealed that FIVE more of Hibs young players had signed new 1-year contract extensions.

Andrew McNeil(GK), Kevin McCann(Def), Darren Smith(Mid), Sean Lynch(Mid) & Ross Campbell(St) all signed new 1-year deals after impressing at the club.

Due to Hibs horrendous injury list last season, Lynch & Campbell actually made there debuts as second half substitutes.

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray said:

"I didn't anticipate any problems. They are all young men getting an opportunity, the time to develop and mature and see how they come on.

"They all have a big year ahead of them, firstly they have to cement their place in the reserve team and then try to break into the first team as quickly as they can, that's what football is all about.

"There are always players coming up behind you so they have a year to push on, progress and develop.

"They had opportunities to come into the first-team squad last season because of injuries, now they have to see if they can push on and force their way in when we have no injuries. It's up to them."
