Former Hibs goalkeeper Jock Brown, father of late Scottish Rugby internationalist Gordon, has died at the age of 90.

He was admitted to hospital with a back injury several weeks ago and slowly began to go downhill.

He died in the Biggart Hospital, Prestwick on Tuseday morning.

He won the Scottish League Championship with Hibs in season 47-48 and was capped once for Scotland against Wales in 1939.

Brown also won the Scottish Cup with Clyde in 1939.

The thoughts of all at Hibs-Mad are with his family at this difficult time. :-(
