FOUR Hibs Youngsters Sign New Deals!!!

Hibs received some fantastic news, after last night's 3-1 CIS Cup Semi Final win over St Johnstone, with the news that FOUR more of Hibs exciting youngsters have signed new deals at the Hi-Bees!!

19-year-old right back Kevin McCann has signed a 4-year-deal that will tie him to Hibs until the summer of 2011.

19-year-old left back Lewis Stevenson has also signed a 4-year-deal that will keep him tied to Hibs until the summer of 2011.

Sean Lynch, 20, has agreed a new 2-year-deal that will keep the midfielder tied to Hibs until 2009.

And finally Ross Campbell, 19, has signed a 2-year deal that will keep the young hitman with the Hi-Bees until 2009.

Hibs Boss John Collins was delighted and told the OFFICIAL club website:

“We are delighted that we have reached agreement with Lewis, Kevin, Ross and Sean on extending their contracts with the club. It is a clear demonstration of our continued commitment to the development of young players at this club, a commitment that has already seen so many fine players come through to the first team at Easter Road. I'm particularly pleased that we have secured the immediate future of these four young player's just days after securing goalkeepers Andrew McNeil and David Grof on extended deals.

“Lewis, Kevin and Ross have already demonstrated that they are ready to progress into our first team and we expect that progress to continue this year. Sean is another player who has shown remarkable commitment and determination to succeed, he has been training with the first team squad and we do not feel it will be long before he is also making his debut.”

Well done Hibs on signing up these young lads, who have all made headway into the first team over the last couple of months.
