Hibernian vs Livingston - Match preview

The last time we reached a major final was against Celtic in 2002 in the Scottish Cup. Although going down 3-0 on the day, the team I feel done us all proud getting there, and we’ll all be there on Sunday, driving the team on to success.

On the road to Scotland’s field of dreams, we have eliminated teams such as Montrose, Queen Of The South, Celtic, and most recently Rangers. The victories over both sides of the Old Firm just shows exactly what the squad is capable of, and with this being our only hope of silverware this year, I think we are most deserved to triumph.

At a time where clubs are in crisis all over Scotland, I think in terms of Scottish football that it will be brilliant to see young starlets, for example Scott Brown, Derek Riordan and Kevin Thompson but to name a few, getting experience at the highest level, playing in cup finals at such a young age and winning silverware for the club.

However confident we all may be, you need to realise that Livingston will be no walk over. Davie Hay’s rein has come at the right time for him, urging his players to give 110%, and they will without a doubt come out doing so, especially being one of the many clubs in administration, aiming to prove a point that they can handle the pressure.

The central midfield will be the key to open play, as will the form of Daniel Andersson in looking for inspiration.

Hibernian Mad Prediction:

Hibs 2-0 Livingston
