www.Hibernian-Mad.co.uk understand that Hibs have been watching the recent performances of York City stiker Clayton Donaldson.

Donaldson apparently came under the radar of former Hibs boss Tony Mowbray before his departure to West Brom and its thought he passed on his info of Donaldson to new Hibs gaffer John Collins.

It's thought Collins has sent scouts to watch the 22-year-old former Hull City, Scarborough and Halifax striker.

Donaldson has a decent scoring record, having scored 30 goals in 60 appearances in his career so far.
