Hibs Eye Polish Keeper!

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today revealed that he was on the trail of Polish goalkeeper Zbigniew Malkowski.

The ex Feyenoord keeper has arrived in Ireland to join in training with the Hibs squad on there pre-season tour.

He is thought to be playing tomorrow night against St Patrick's Athletic, the 6ft 4in Pole, has arrived ,to prove himself to be able competition for Easter Road no1 Simon Brown, as his understudy Ally Brown has gone on loan to 2nd division Raith Rovers.

He was sent out on loan by Feyenoord to SBV Excelsior after failing to grab a first team spot, he played 55 games before going back to the Rotterdam club.

He spent last season as understudy to Hungarian goalkeeper Gabor Babos, but failed to oust him from the No1 spot, before eventually being released by the Dutch giants at the end of the season.
