Hibs financial year the envy of most SPL Clubs?

Last updated : 28 September 2005 By Brian Hine

Hibs are about to anounce the accounts of the last financial year and the early signs are that we could be one of the few, if not the only club to break even for the first time in a good few years. This is very encouraging news indeed especially in light of the financial debacle that surrounds most football clubs these days.
More details when the accounts are released

The feel good factor continues down Easter Road with news that Hibs have shifted over 8,500 season tickets to date (a new record) and a couple of the older high earning players have moved on to pastures new freeing up monies for other avenues.
Replica top sales are also at a record high with the new Away Black top selling out, though more have been ordered it's believed they'll be in the shop in a few weeks. Meanwhile the new Home top is selling well with orders being taken at the shop now.
