It was revealed today that Hibs 20 year old Left back David Murphy will be out for at least 2 weeks. He aggravated a thigh strain injury at the weekend in the Scottish Cup Semi Final defeat to relegation candidates Dundee Utd.

Hibs Manager Tony Mowbray said "We are probably going to leave David out for a week or two,"

It will mean the classy defender will miss Wednesday nights important Edinburgh Derby against Hearts at Tyncastle and Saturday’s visit of Livingston at Easter Road, in the race for the coveted 3rd spot and European football next season.

On the plus side Hibs Captain Ian Murray will be back for the Tyncastle clash before resuming his ban on Saturday against Livingston.
