Hibs kid Darren McCormack signs new long term deal!!!

Hibs kid Darren McCormack has revealed that he has signed a new long term deal at the Hi-Bees.

McCormack, 19, was widely expected to sign for Celtic on June 30th when it was revealed that he had signed a pre-contract agreement with the Glasgow club.

It now seems that the Scotland U-19 captain has pulled out of said pre-contract to sign a new deal at Easter Road.

The centre half is thought to have signed a 5-year deal to stay at the club he has supported since he was a kid.

McCormack said:

"I was flattered that a massive club like Celtic approached me. But I'm a Hibs supporter and I'm delighted to stay at the club I supported
as a small boy."

Well done Darren, nice to see someone with his head screwed on. It's also good to see yet another of Hibs promising youngsters tied up on a long term deal.
