Hibs have today been linked with a move for Algerian striker Mouhamed Belkheir.
The RAAL La Louvière hitman has been attracting serious interest, with Saudi club Al-Riyadh said to be close to agreeing a 1.5m Euro deal, that includes a sell-on and add-ons, according toBelgian journo Sacha Tavolieri.
However he also states that the Hibees would also be interested in landing the former Inter Milan youngster, and that the player has not agreed terms.
The 26-year-old scored 14 goals in 26 games in the Challenger Pro League last term, despite not being seen as an out-and-out forward, as he can also operate on the right wing, or behind the main striker.
Tavolieri also states that Hibs would also have to fight it out with Kasimpasa (Turkey) and Neftchi Baku (Azerbaijan) to land his signature.
Belkheir has also had spells with Torino, Leixoes (Portugal) and Fortuna Sittard (Holland).
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
This one has come from nowhere.
Hibs boss David Gray is hopeful of signing another striker, having lost Dylan Vente, Myko and Dwight Gayle over the summer.
Thibault Klidje has arrived in the other direction from FC Luzern in a club record £1.2m deal, could another big deal be on the horizon?
