According to SPORTSBOOM, Hibs have entered the race to sign Ipswich Town defender Harry Clarke.
The 24-year-old is out-of-contract next summer, and the Hibees have been credited with an interest in the former Arsenal kid.
Clarke, of course, had a short loan spell at Easter Road in 2022, but picked up an injury. Just as he was flying for the Hibees, Arsenal recalled him when the transfer window opened and then sent him to Stoke City on loan, after only 8 games for Hibs.
Hibs will apparently face competition for his signature, with both Bristol City and Coventry City said to be monitoring the situation.
Clarke was an integral part of Ipswich Town getting promoted to the Premiership, but once they got there, he fell out-of-favour and only played a handful of times, and then joined Sheffield United on loan last season.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW
Clarke would be a fantastic signing.
He was excellent in his short spell at Easter Road, before he went back to Arsenal.
Could we tempt him back North?
