Hibs linked with Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday

Last updated : 18 May 2018 By Steve Forbes

According to the Scottish Sun, Hibs boss is considering a move for Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday.

New Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has apparently told the former Middlesbrough player that he has no future at Ibrox.

Hibs boss Neil Lennon has targeted Halliday, as he looks to bolster a midfield that could be depleted over the summer.

Scott Allan's loan deal has ended and he has returned to Celtic. Dylan McGeouch has played his last game for the club, after his contract ran down, and has a number of English sides chasing his signature.

The Hibees are also expecting big money offers for star midfielder John McGinn this summer.

Halliday still has 2 years left on his deal with the Glasgow side.

Could Halliday do a job at Easter Road??
