No official approach from Nottingham Forest for Colin Calderwood and none welcome !
That was the official statement from Hibernian FC this morning and it should quash all the rumours doing the rounds up here and in Nottingham that Colin Calderwood is going anywhere other than to the Hibs training camp at East Mains to take pre-season training.
The fact there is a picture of Caldo in a Leicester hotel foyer sitting at a table with Steve McClaren and a.n. other set the tounges wagging on the net and in the pubs North and South of the border and a lot of people seem to have put 2 and 2 together and came up with 5 but this latest statement from Hibs should put this particular rumour to bed.......at least for now.
The plus side of all this is that it's great to see that our manager is in such demand but I for one would prefer to see him stay at the helm of our great club and get us playing football the way we, the fans, want it played at Easter Road.
It's not called the beautiful game for nothing you know ;o)
