Hibs Ready To Move For Falkirk Striker Alan Gow????

Last updated : 21 December 2006 By Steve Forbes

Hibs boss John Collins today admitted that he was keen to secure the services of Falkirk striker Alan Gow.

The
Falkirk hitman is free to talk to other clubs when the January transfer window opens in a week or so and Collins is keen on making the player his first signing as Easter Road boss.

Gow signed for
Falkirk from Airdrie United for £50,000, he also had a spell at Clydebank.

It is believed that Hibs have followed the rule book and informed
Falkirk of there intention to enter talks with the talented 24-year-old striker.

The only unclear thing is if Hibs would want the player in January or wait until the summer when his contract ends.

Hibs boss Collins said:

"He is a player we are interested in - amongst a long list of others."

Hibs are short of a striker, is Gow the answer??
