Hibs recall Trio from Edinburgh FC Loan

Last updated : 09 January 2023 By Steve Forbes

Hibs have today revealed that they have recalled three youngsters from their loan deals with partnership club FC Edinburgh.

Defenders Jack Brydon, Allan Delferriere and Emmanuel Johnson have all returned to Easter Road and will now be full time members of Steve Kean's Development squad.

Whilst with the Meadowbank side, Brydon played 18 times scoring 1 goal, Delferriere played 15 times, all in midfield and American Johnson played 12 times, scoring 2 goals.

HIBS-MAD:

We wonder what Hibs plan to do next with these lads?

Right now they will be in the DV squad full time, but could they now see full team action?

Delferriere was getting rave reviews while at Meadowbank, with some Edinburgh supporters claiming he was too good for that level. He has played games for Belgian side Liege and MVV on loan, and now Edinburgh, maybe his time has come?

Johnson is another with good experience, he has already had a good loan spell in the States with Charleston Battery, and now Edinburgh, gaining over 30 games experience.

Brydon is younger, and could maybe do with another loan spell.

We wait and see.
