Hibs season ticket sales smash through the 10,000 barrier!

Last updated : 30 November 2005 By Steve Forbes

Hibs today announced that for the first time, season ticket sales had past the 10,000 mark.

Half-season tickets went on sale on Saturday morning, selling 300 on the first day, and have now sold 500 since Saturday.

Hibs number of season ticket holders now stands at 10,250, and more are expected to sell.

Sales will keep going until, the tickets become valid, which is the home game against
Aberdeen on January 14th.

The rush is well and truly on to get a season ticket with only 600 spaces left in the West and Famous Five stands, and some are still available in the East.

Tony Mowbray's style of play and the exciting young team we have is certainly pulling in the crowds and with home games likely against Hearts, Celtic & Rangers (Maybe!!! :-d), there will be a mad scramble to make sure of a seat, for what looks like an even more exciting season than last year!

Well done Tony Mowbray, Mark Venus and the team for the football we are all enjoying and long may it continue!
