Hibs today completed the signing of Michael Stewart from Manchester United.
The player who was on loan at arch rivals Hearts last season and is a self confessed Hearts supporter, negotiated out of his last year at Old Trafford in order to sign a one year deal for the Hibees.
Stewart said "Tony Mowbray is a manager who is clearly going places with Hibernian and I am delighted to have been offered this opportunity.”
It remains to be seen if he can win over the Hibs fans, having played at the bus shelter last season, but hopefully he will prove the doubters wrong.
