Hibs Star Dean Shiels Going Nowhere!

Hibs boss Tony Mowbray today moved to remove any fears the Hibs fans had of losing midfield wiz kid Dean Shiels.

Shiels, 21, has been in and out of the side since having an eye removed, but has impressed when given his chance.

He has scored 3 times already this season against
Aberdeen, Kilmarnock & Dundee Utd.

Hibs boss Mowbray said:

"I was a little surprised other clubs are talking about our players.

"But Dean has got on with it, he has another three years of his deal left and there is little chance that he will be leaving our football club."

Shiels was an integral part of the team two seasons ago, when he scored 6 goals in 31 games from wide left and set-up a number of goals for Hibs.

Deano, then went for an eye operation, to have an eye removed, that he hurt as a kid, which had started playing up and was giving him pain. Deano ended up missing most of last season.

Deano's now back and raring to go and by the looks of it, staying at the Hi-Bees!

Shiels signed from Arsenal on a free transfer in 2004 and has won two caps for Northern Ireland, as well as being a permanent fixture in the U-21 side.
