Hibs Star Kevin Thomson Joins Rangers For £2m!

Hibs midfielder Kevin Thomson last night joined the Hi-Bees SPL rivals RANGERS for £2m on a four and a half year deal.

After weeks of speculation the former Hibs skipper finally got his greedy wish last night, with a move to Govan.

Thomson has spent most of this season seeking a move away from the Hi-Bees and even came out with ridiculous comments that Hibs fans had attacked him in the street, to try and engineer himself a move away from Easter Road.

Thomson, who CLAIMS to be a Hibs fan, also made some quite frankly disgusting comments about the club as he left. Thomson claims that the thought of staying with Hibs made him feel "physically sick".

Thomson told one of today's tabloids:

"I was stripped of the captaincy and treated very poorly by the manager who seemed to have lost all faith in me.

"I can't explain how bad that made me feel and the thought of staying there for another four months was making me feel physically sick.

"It's well known the gaffer and I didn't see eye to eye."

VERY grown up Kevin.

The funniest thing about the whole deal is, Thomson, only a couple of weeks back, came out and said he ONLY wanted to join CELTIC!!
