WWW.HIBERNIAN-MAD.CO.UK understands that Hibs will honour there contract offer to the now injured Chris Killen.

Killen, Hibs top scorer with 15 goals this season, was offered a new deal just TWO days before he injured his Achilles in the Scottish Cup 3rd Round 2-2 draw with
Aberdeen up at Pittodrie.

He picked up the injury with the last kick of the ball and it is thought he over stretched in his efforts.

His injury is expected to keep him out until at least the start of next season.

Killen was due to be out of contract at the end of the season and was able to talk to other clubs from January 1st about possible Bosman moves.

Hibernian-Mad also understands that Hibs offered Killen a 2-year contract and that Hibs will now follow this through and offer Killen the contract despite his injury.

Good news, the guy has turned into the steal of the century and it will be good to see him at Easter Road for the foreseeable future.
