It has been reported that Hibs could link up with top Primera Liga side Espanyol.

The Mail on Sunday says that Hibs will be sending officials to Spain very soon to check out Espanyol 'B' striker, Tariq Spezie Sevilla, and that a feeder club style agreement could be arranged.

Spezie is only 21, and has played a major part in the B side's season. They next have a play off against Almeria to see who will be promoted to the Spanish Second division.

The barcelona club like the idea of their top youngsters gaining first team experience, and playing abroad, while Hibs will like the idea of getting good young players for nothing!

Going to Hampden before going home!
Meanwhile, we're on our way back to Hampden! Yup, words I didn't know when I'd say again, but Bobby Williamson will take the team to play Queens Park in a friendly on 16 July, three days before the trip to Finland.

And finally, Mathias Doumbe has signed a new one year deal. The ex PSG player was out of contract and was expected to leave the club, but despite the fact that he hasn't started a first team match yet, Bobby Williamson obviously sees potential the the lad and will be around for another season. No doubt the Frenchman will be hoping to continue the recent trend of good youngsters getting their chance in the first team.
