Hibs U-19's this week played in an international youth tournament at Hamilton Academicals stadium, New Douglas Park.

Hibs, Hamilton, Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Bayer Leverkusen and Brazilian's Cruzerio entered the tournament.

Hibs started of the tournament in style, by beating German giants Bayer Leverkusen 2-1 with goals from Sean Lynch & Ross Campbell, who both appeared in HIBS the first team last season.

Hibs then went on to defeat West Ham United in the semi final, but reports are fuzzy to what the actual score line was, although it's thought to be 1-0 to Hibs.

Hibs then went on to face Blackburn Rovers in the final. Hibs took the lead through Jack Wilson, but the game ended 1-1.

Blackburn won the final 4-2 on penalties.

Unlucky lads, good to see another batch of exciting youngsters on the verge of making the breakthrough at Hibs!
