Hibs Women, the Champions of Scptland, have been dealt a big blow this afternoon, with the loss of midfielder Michaela McAlonie.
The 23-year-old has joined the English Women's Super League 2 side for an undisclosed fee.
McAlonie signed for the Hibees in 2021 from Spartans, she played 123 times and scored 26 times for the Hibees.
Michaela, of course, leaves with a League Winners medal in her pocket from last season's incredible title win.
Everyone at Hibs-Mad wishes her all the best down south.
HIBERNIAN-MAD VIEW:
A huge loss for the Hibees.
Michaela deserves this move after some brilliant performances, that somehow, have not produced an international call-up.
It leaves a gaping hole in the middle of the park, that will hopefully be fixed as soon as possible.
The Women have started the season well with two thumping wins as they look to defend their crown, beating Aberdeen 5-1 and Partick Thistle 5-0.
