Hibs Youth Coach John Park Joins Celtic!!!!!!

Hibs were dealt a massive blow today, when it was announced that Youth Coach John Park had agreed to join Celtic.

Park is responsible for over seeing the development of players such as Gary O'Connor, Steven Fletcher, Scott Brown, Kevin Thomson & Steven Whittaker through Hibs youth system.

Park came to Hibs in 1998, when Alex McLeish brought him to Easter Road when he arrived as manager from Motherwell.

Hibs chairman Rod Petrie today heaped praise on Park, he said:

"John has been with us since 1998 and has done a fantastic job in establishing and maintaining our youth development programme which has seen lot of young players come through the system.

"He has been given an opportunity, a new challenge and one he is looking forward to and he goes with our best wishes.

"He can be proud of the legacy he leaves in terms of players in our youth development at the moment, not only those in the first-team but those in the system all the way down through the age groups to the early teens."

It is thought Park will NOT be joining Celtic as youth coach, but will be Celtic's new head scout for first team affairs.

Everyone at Hibernian-Mad would like to thank John, for everything he has done for the club, but we WON'T be wishing him good luck in his new job.

Sorry John.

Not like Celtic to steal something from Hibs for nothing eh??
