Hungarian International Hitman Thomas Sowunmi On Trial At Hibs!

Hibs boss John Collins today revealed that Hungarian international striker Thomas Sowunmi has arrived at Easter Road on trial.

28-year-old Sowunmi is currently with Czech Republic side FC Slovacko.

Sowunmi is actually from Nigeria but holds a dual passport and has played 10 games for the Hungarian national team.

Sowunmi used to play for Ajaccio & Fernecvaros.

The striker will be out to impress Hibs boss John Collins, who said:

"He comes with a decent pedigree,"

"He'll join in with the training today and it's up to him how he does. We'll assess him over the coming days and, hopefully, he'll show us that he's worth a deal.

We're led to believe through my contacts on the continent that he has good pace and decent technique. Someone threw his name up and we're giving him a chance."
