Serie B side Pro Vercilli have confirmed they are interested in signing Hibs forward Dominique Malonga.
The 27-year-old French born Congo striker is out-of-contract in the summer, and a return to Italy could be on the cards.
Malonga, who has been in & out the Hibs side this season has played in Italy before, having represented Torino, Foggia, Cesena & Vicenza.
Speaking to the press, Pro Vercilli's sporting director Massimo Varini said:
“Dominique Malonga is one of the players we are monitoring. He’s technically strong, fast and scores goals. He can play as a striker or just off. He can play on the left and right too.”
Wether the Italian side make their move this January, or attempt to sign the player on a pre-contract for a summer move remains to be seen.
