GERMAN Bundesliga club Kaiserslautern are the latest club to show an interest in the Hibees in-form striker Derek Riordan.

The Bundesliga club had their European scout Arno Wolf over to watch the Scotland international and he left not disappointed as Deek notched up a superb double against Dunfermline.

Kaiserslautern's general manager Olaf Marschall, the former German international forward, yesterday said
"Derek Riordan is one of the very few players who we are looking at. He's one we have in mind."

Deek has also been linked with a move to Nürnberg and Belgian champions Anderlecht, with Sheffield Wednesday also showing an interest recently.

We at Hibernian-mad wish Deek would sign an improved extension to his deal and stay with us but if that doesn’t happen then we wish Deek all the best wherever he goes so long as it’s not WEST!
