Konte to go on trial with Plymouth Argyle

Last updated : 18 January 2006 By Brian Hine

Amadou Konte is with Plymouth Argyle boss Tony Pulis on the South coast of England for a couple of days in the hope of winning a move there.

The 24 year-old Striker from Mali has only started four games since his move to Easter Road from Cambridge in 2004 making his debut in an away trip at rangers, scoring in our 2-2 away draw with Motherwell on May 7, 2005 a match in which Amadou’s 90th minute goal got us the point, with his one and only goal for Hibs I may add.

Word is that Mogga IS running the rule over Chris Hacket as revealed on here

Amadou’s Record at Hibs

Season 2004/05 -13 appearances (3 starts)

Season 2005/06 - 6 appearances (1start)

Total = 19 appearances with One Goal

Good luck with your trial Amadou from all at Hibs–mad
We Really mean it
